In the 13th minute Bruce Marler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurens Gijselinghs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurens Gijselinghs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tosh Goodwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurens Gijselinghs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Crouch in the 16th minute of the match. real dixmuda's Laurens Gijselinghs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tosh Goodwin in the 19th minute of play. Despite this Laurens Gijselinghs quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Crouch in the 28th minute of play forced real dixmuda's goalkeeper Laurens Gijselinghs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tosh Goodwin in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laurens Gijselinghs saved real dixmuda from getting behind. Laurens Gijselinghs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calvin Clark in the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of real dixmuda booed when Egg Chasers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calvin Clark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tosh Goodwin took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurens Gijselinghs. Laurens Gijselinghs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 40 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Vincent Blakeley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rein De Schepper. After 42 minutes of play, Egg Chasers FC's Bruce Marler made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laurens Gijselinghs was left in no man's land by his defense there! real dixmuda's Laurens Gijselinghs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Crouch in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ron Keldermans to make the kick off. Calvin Clark received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Laurens Gijselinghs came out and tried to block the shot, but Calvin Clark slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 51st minute. A collision led to real dixmuda getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Gunter Cuelens hit a great ball. When Calvin Clark came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Egg Chasers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calvin Clark couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Didier Lingier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laurens Gijselinghs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tosh Goodwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute Egg Chasers FC were awarded a corner. Calvin Clark went to the cornerflag to take it. Egg Chasers FC's Calvin Clark was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Laurens Gijselinghs in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Egg Chasers FC were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after real dixmuda's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Calvin Clark took the corner. Tosh Goodwin had several of the real dixmuda's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 63 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Laurens Gijselinghs as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 67th minute, Peter Crouch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Egg Chasers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Rein De Schepper kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Armand Helssen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Blakeley having to interfere. Laurens Gijselinghs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tosh Goodwin in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute of the match Egg Chasers FC got a corner. real dixmuda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Calvin Clark ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Bruce Marler heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Laurens Gijselinghs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calvin Clark in the 80th minute of play. Laurens Gijselinghs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tosh Goodwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, real dixmuda's Laurens Gijselinghs got control of the ball when Calvin Clark tried to sneak it across the goal line.
