Silverio Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Trifan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Eloy Larra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Llorian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Israel Cloyo got free with Silverio Cordearo in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Israel Cloyo in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silverio Cordearo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Victoriano Sustrai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Israel Cloyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Silverio Cordearo made a huge save. Andres Ubelteso charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andres Ubelteso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andres Ubelteso kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Silverio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Cloyo in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute of the match, Cristian Abecia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Silverio Cordearo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 43 minutes into the game, Israel Cloyo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Silverio Cordearo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silverio Cordearo made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Cristian Abecia sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victoriano Sustrai made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cayetano Aznaro during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes CA Quake got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Aznaro. 53 minutes into the match, CA Quake's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Trifan came free, but Silverio Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute La Primera Barra 1968 were awarded a corner. Jorge Mikolas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led La Primera Barra 1968's Jorge Mikolas to fire away a dangerous shot which Silverio Cordearo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Israel Cloyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the CA Quake defense, Israel Cloyo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silverio Cordearo. The CA Quake fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silverio Cordearo should have stopped the shot. 66 minutes into the game, Israel Cloyo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Silverio Cordearo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. CA Quake's Tomi Giusti was substituted for Eloy Larra. La Primera Barra 1968's Ramon Wanchope was substituted for Cristian Abecia. In the 74th minute La Primera Barra 1968 were awarded a corner. Jorge Mikolas went to the cornerflag to take it.
