After 22 minutes, Jarl Pihlblad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beetlejuice and the Microsoft Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. With his leg Dorian Catarinense managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Beetlejuice's Stig Matthiessen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Beetlejuice's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Patric Kvalfält in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Alan de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Microsoft Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Alan de Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stig Matthiessens short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Dorian Catarinense to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig Matthiessen in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorian Catarinense saved Microsoft Team from getting behind. Beetlejuice's Gert Jansson got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Microsoft Team's Dorian Catarinense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Microsoft Team from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Microsoft Team getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ricardinho Neiva hit a great ball. After 40 played minutes, Beetlejuice's Patric Kvalfält shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dorian Catarinense came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Beetlejuice reached it. When Alan de Souza fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Microsoft Team's protests and gave Alan de Souza a yellow card for diving instead. Alan de Souza hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Alan de Souza scored 2-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nestor Nunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig Matthiessen in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorian Catarinense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Microsoft Team's zone, Gabriel Björnberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorian Catarinense came out of the goal and Gabriel Björnberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gert Jansson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorian Catarinense having to make a save. The supporters of Beetlejuice booed when Microsoft Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Proença didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute Stig Matthiessen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorian Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dorian Catarinense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stig Matthiessen's shot from short distance in the 68th minute.
