When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Wes Nichols took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Andoni Zubizarreta to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximiliano Peru to make the kick off. After having played for 59 minutes, Emmanuel Pennington managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Recolta Alamor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emmanuel Pennington was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrés Vombergar came free in the 62nd minute and tried to tip the ball over Grigore Proca, but to the joy of Recolta Alamor's supporters the ball went over. Recolta Alamor's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Dean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andoni Zubizarreta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andoni Zubizarreta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Dean went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 74 minutes into the match, Emmanuel Pennington notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Spams's Andoni Zubizarreta. Andoni Zubizarreta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Recolta Alamor booed when Spams was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Mino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emmanuel Pennington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andoni Zubizarreta having to interfere. The throw-in from Deshawn Souza in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Spams's Florencio Gimenez. After having played for 86 minutes, Maximiliano Peru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spams's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Peru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 89 played minutes Spams got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Weather. Recolta Alamor's Wes Nichols pulled a muscle in his leg after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Reynaldo Weather fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spams's protests and gave Reynaldo Weather a yellow card for diving instead. Recolta Alamor's Theodore Cagle was substituted for Wes Nichols. After 93 played minutes Spams got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Weather. Teobaldo Hondo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Recolta Alamor's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
