Real Club Fuengirola's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Jiang Li Kang scored to the left of an out of position Beltran Saura, making the score, 6-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgilio Camacho in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andoni Zubizarreta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agapito Ramirez made a kick off. The supporters of Real Club Fuengirola booed when Spams was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Truylos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Ernesto Chinto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beltran Saura was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 81st match minute, Spams was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Bobrowski to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Real Club Fuengirola defense, Ernesto Chinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beltran Saura. The Real Club Fuengirola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beltran Saura should have stopped the shot. If Zhang Cheng Liang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Spams had played much better football throughout.
