After 3 minutes, Joel Palmeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Atletico Alagoano and the Memphis Grizzlies players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joel Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Ronny Theobold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Memphis Grizzlies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronny Theobold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th match minute, Clube Atletico Alagoano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Leal to maneuver through the defense. Memphis Grizzlies's Grant Andrews managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Diogo Leal in the 10 minute of the game. Vinicio Carballeira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ott Uluk having to make a save. 14 minutes into the game, Diogo Leal threw the ball into play from the sideline. Memphis Grizzlies's Grant Andrews quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The throw-in from Diogo Leal in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Memphis Grizzlies's Grant Andrews. Ott Uluk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Carballeira in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Clube Atletico Alagoano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Ott Uluk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Carballeira in the 19th minute of the match. Joachim Garate recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clube Atletico Alagoano's Ott Uluk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Carballeira in the 25th minute of play. Diogo Leal charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diogo Leal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Memphis Grizzlies a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vinicio Carballeira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Clube Atletico Alagoano's Ott Uluk. 0-1. Memphis Grizzlies's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ronny Theobold in the 37th minute. After taking down the ball on Memphis Grizzlies's corner Ronny Theobold fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ott Uluk quite easily take care of the ball. Vinicio Carballeira took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ott Uluk. Ott Uluk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernandinho Souza made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Clube Atletico Alagoano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. Ott Uluk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Carballeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Vinicio Carballeira put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ott Uluk. In the 60th minute, Felix Mudarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 61 minutes, Ezequiel da Mata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Atletico Alagoano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel da Mata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ronny Theobold kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ott Uluk. That made the score 0-4 in the 64 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Clube Atletico Alagoano's André Luís de Souza got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Memphis Grizzlies's Stuart Banks in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clube Atletico Alagoano's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Clube Atletico Alagoano's Ott Uluk got control of the ball when Ty Hislop tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ty Hislop could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Ott Uluk made a huge save. In the 78th minute Ronny Theobold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ott Uluk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jim Mannell hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Clube Atletico Alagoano's goal looked a bit too open when Stuart Banks came free, but Ott Uluk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Clube Atletico Alagoano's Joel Palmeira got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The Memphis Grizzlies fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Memphis Grizzlies's Stuart Banks looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ott Uluk was a little too slow when Stuart Banks got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-6. The Clube Atletico Alagoano fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Memphis Grizzlies were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
