Roman Rollins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Augusto de Barros in the 6th minute. Boca Juniors's Roman Rollins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel da Silveira in the 7th minute of play. The Boca Juniors fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Boca Juniors's Ernie Dixon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 11 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's Ernie Dixon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Santos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ernie Dixon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Samuel Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Tyrone Marrero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 37 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Jason Stuart. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel da Silveira was the one to do the kick off. Roman Rollins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Augusto de Barros in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Alberto Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernie Dixon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Augusto de Barros scored 1-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roman Rollins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Percy Castro was substituted for Efrain Urre. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Tyrone Marrero got a free kick in the 66th minute. Roman Rollins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Benito Burnett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thanos Sapalidis in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 83 played minutes C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Joel da Silveira. Roman Rollins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Augusto de Barros in the 88th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
