Raureni Academy's Mădălin Lunca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Raureni Academy from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the match, Raureni Academy's Dorel Balint sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Rollins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute Pavel Alexandru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Rollins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Dorel Balint cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Roman Rollins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marius Tănasă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Roman Rollins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jason Stuart hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Pavel Alexandru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Raureni Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Tănasă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mădălin Lunca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernie Dixon in the 26th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Ferdinand Voicu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Rollins came out of the goal and Ferdinand Voicu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boca Juniors's Roman Rollins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Alexandru in the 31st minute of play. Mădălin Lunca was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Thanos Sapalidis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thanos Sapalidis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 37th match minute, Raureni Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marius Tănasă to maneuver through the defense. Mădălin Lunca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernie Dixon, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Mădălin Lunca came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Tyrone Marrero. But to his dismay, Tyrone Marrero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Pavel Alexandru made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyrone Marrero in the 52nd minute of play forced Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Mădălin Lunca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Rollins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Alexandru in the 54th minute of the match. Boca Juniors's Roman Rollins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. 56 minutes into the game, Dorel Balint recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roman Rollins. Dorel Balint showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Roman Rollins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Raureni Academy's Pavel Alexandru got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute Marius Tănasă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Rollins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mădălin Lunca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thanos Sapalidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Raureni Academy's Dorel Balint got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyrone Marrero in the 71st minute of play forced Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Mădălin Lunca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Pavel Alexandru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Raureni Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Quentin Bullard replaced Thanos Sapalidis. After having played for 91 minutes, Pavel Alexandru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raureni Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavel Alexandru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Benito Burnett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Rollins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Alexandru in the 97th minute of play. In the 98th minute of the match Raureni Academy got a corner. Boca Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristinel Tomozei ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Raureni Academy's Cristinel Tomozei to fire away a dangerous shot which Roman Rollins despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Raureni Academy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
