Sosnowe Klimaty's Kryspin Cwynar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stuart Armstrong in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Sosnowe Klimaty's goalkeeper Kryspin Cwynar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stuart Armstrong. In the 13th minute of the match KP Brzeg Dolny got a corner. Sosnowe Klimaty's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anacleto Aceituno ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sosnowe Klimaty's goalkeeper Kryspin Cwynar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antoni Piesciuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Antoni Piesciuk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sérgio Monteiro's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Kryspin Cwynar made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Stuart Armstrong sent off a good shot on target. If Gonçalo Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antoni Piesciuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Wladyslaw Obuchowicz in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by KP Brzeg Dolny's Wiktor Kilian. If Stuart Armstrong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sosnowe Klimaty's Kryspin Cwynar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stuart Armstrong in the 34th minute of play. Stuart Armstrong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sérgio Monteiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Sosnowe Klimaty got a freekick which was hit by Wladyslaw Obuchowicz. KP Brzeg Dolny's Stuart Armstrong got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sosnowe Klimaty's Kryspin Cwynar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stuart Armstrong in the 56th minute of play. Czeslaw Cwynar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoni Piesciuk having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, KP Brzeg Dolny's goalkeeper Antoni Piesciuk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonçalo Catarinense. KP Brzeg Dolny's Antoni Piesciuk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save KP Brzeg Dolny from getting a goal against them. He walked away shaking his head. When the referee blew the final whistle, KP Brzeg Dolny could leave the field as winners, despite Sosnowe Klimaty having more of the ball for most of the match.
