Károly Bodrogi hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, Gabríel Cristofor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bassa Valle FC the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergiu Panaitescu got free with Eugenio Mazzocco in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavril Bucur in the 54th minute of play forced Bassa Valle FC's goalkeeper Eugenio Mazzocco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Francesco Corna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Peppe Mascara was substituted for Sergiu Panaitescu. Jan-Joost Werner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Pallini, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Gordon Forrest notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Jan-Joost Werner. Jan-Joost Werner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jan-Joost Werner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Corna in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of Bassa Valle FC booed when C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position.
