TheLastDance's Zachariasz Kociniewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Corrêa in the 22nd minute of play. Gerson Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Zachariasz Kociniewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 minutes, Amílton Moreno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haridades F.C and the TheLastDance players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bebeto Cardoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaroslaw Gongolewicz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bebeto Cardoso. That made the score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. Edson-Arantes Maradona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Haridades F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Bebeto Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edson-Arantes Maradona, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute.
