MALATYASPOR's Bahattin Yetkiner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save MALATYASPOR from getting a goal against them. Salvador Sordo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yusuf Bahadır Mete in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Eureka's Quintino Lobo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bahattin Yetkiner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentim Castilho in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bahattin Yetkiner saved MALATYASPOR from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Armindo Barcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MALATYASPOR's Bahattin Yetkiner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentim Castilho in the 17th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Valentim Castilho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bahattin Yetkiner. MALATYASPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentim Castilho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Eureka's Belchior Valadão was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bahattin Yetkiner in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Laureano Portugal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Bahattin Yetkiner skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Eureka's Shi Xi Wei got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute of the match, Quintino Lobo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bahattin Yetkiner saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Yusuf Bahadır Mete might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salvador Sordo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yusuf Bahadır Mete ran back to his position shaking his head. Salvador Sordo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yusuf Bahadır Mete in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Paulo Moutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MALATYASPOR's Ali Çağrı Çetiner got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Çağrı Çetiner to make the kick off. Bahattin Yetkiner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Matias in the 52nd minute of play. After 60 minutes of play, Eureka's Laureano Portugal made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bahattin Yetkiner was left in no man's land by his defense there! But to his dismay, Valentim Castilho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Álvaro Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Laureano Portugal came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Eureka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laureano Portugal couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Eureka booed when MALATYASPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Maureo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
