The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valentim Castilho scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franco Marholz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Valentim Castilho put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Franco Marholz. After 10 minutes, Valentim Castilho made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Andaluz's Franco Marholz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Andaluz's Celedonio Andaur got a free kick in the 15th minute. Salvador Sordo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintén L´Hotelier in the 17th minute of play. Valentim Castilho scored 0-5 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franco Marholz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Quintino Lobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Franco Marholz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Deportivo Andaluz booed when Eureka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quintino Lobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th match minute, Deportivo Andaluz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Salvatierra to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Laureano Portugal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franco Marholz. Deportivo Andaluz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laureano Portugal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Franco Marholz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo Carvalhal in the 41st minute of play. The Eureka fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Eureka's Valentim Castilho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Quintén L´Hotelier to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Valentim Castilho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franco Marholz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. Franco Marholz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quintino Lobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Marholz was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Laureano Portugal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Laureano Portugal really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. When Eureka's Valentim Castilho in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 0-13 when Valentim Castilho sped through Deportivo Andaluz's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Franco Marholz. Valentim Castilho might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franco Marholz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentim Castilho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute, Valentim Castilho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Franco Marholz. The goal made the score 0-14. After 73 minutes, Valentim Castilho made it 0-15 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Andaluz's Franco Marholz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Deportivo Andaluz's Franco Marholz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Andaluz from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Andaluz's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valentim Castilho was slow to take the kick. During this time Eureka's players had a chance to rest. After 82 minutes, Valentim Castilho made it 0-17 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Andaluz's Franco Marholz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Deportivo Andaluz's Franco Marholz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Andaluz from getting a goal against them. In the 90th minute of the match, Valentim Castilho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Franco Marholz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lucero Davalos charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucero Davalos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, one of Deportivo Andaluz:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo Andaluz. The Deportivo Andaluz fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Eureka were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
