Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogério Garcia in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Eigel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Toa Toa 4EVER booed when Pirsus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Griffin Cinq-Mars didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 minutes of play, Toa Toa 4EVER's Nilson Gaspar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Igor Eigel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the match, Pirsus's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid Galvão came free, but Igor Eigel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Pirsus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Griffin Cinq-Mars to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Rogério Garcia made a precise shot to the right of Igor Eigel. Pirsus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Deivid Galvão to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilson Gaspar got free with Igor Eigel in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
