In the 6th minute, Christian Pelliccioni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute Mauro Izotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Olsman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raining Blood were furious when Wiliam Reis was red carded, 15 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Raining Blood! Raining Blood:s André Olsman showed great skill when he stopped Mauro Izotz:s penalty. Majadita FC's Federico Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Pelliccioni in the 22nd minute of play. The Raining Blood fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Raining Blood's Lautaro Martinez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 26th minute Lautaro Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Raining Blood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalidou Koulibaly to maneuver through the defense. Federico Reyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melquiades Esiquio got free with André Olsman in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Raining Blood were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauro Izotz made a kick off. Lautaro Martinez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Reyes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Izotz in the 55th minute of play forced Raining Blood's goalkeeper André Olsman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Guevara replaced Mauro Izotz. André Olsman came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Majadita FC's Cirilo Oier. But to his dismay, Cirilo Oier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. André Olsman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Esiquio in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Raining Blood's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Esiquio came free, but André Olsman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Guipuzkoa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for André Olsman. Raining Blood's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lautaro Martinez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Federico Reyes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Raining Blood's André Olsman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Guevara in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th minute Cirilo Oier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Olsman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
