The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Túlio Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ren Jie Fan in the 6th minute of play. Rômulo Veiga lost his temper 10 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GeRaÇãO-83! When the match had been going on for 11 minutes, Toa Toa 4EVER's Anselmo Terra got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Guto Jacinto. After 14 minutes, Bernardinho Chaves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toa Toa 4EVER and the GeRaÇãO-83 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Toa Toa 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardinho Chaves to maneuver through the defense. Túlio Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ren Jie Fan's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Stig Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Silva having to interfere. Toa Toa 4EVER's Túlio Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ren Jie Fan in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Ren Jie Fan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GeRaÇãO-83 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. GeRaÇãO-83's Guto Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Garcia in the 28th minute of play. Túlio Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ren Jie Fan in the 30th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Ren Jie Fan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Túlio Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a rather tough play, GeRaÇãO-83's Didi Couto got a free kick in the 39th minute. Túlio Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Ancelotti in the 42nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Nilson Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot. With a little luck, Toa Toa 4EVER's Túlio Silva got control of the ball when Ren Jie Fan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Toa Toa 4EVER's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Ren Jie Fan scored to the left of an out of position Túlio Silva, making the score, 1-6. Carl Ancelotti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Silva having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Ren Jie Fan made a precise shot to the right of Túlio Silva. Toa Toa 4EVER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. When Ren Jie Fan came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the GeRaÇãO-83 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ren Jie Fan couldn't finish the play. GeRaÇãO-83 made a substitution. Felipe Senna replaced Billy Backman. After 84 played minutes Toa Toa 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Deivid Galvão. Stig Sandström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guto Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Galvão in the 87th minute of play. With a little luck, Toa Toa 4EVER's Túlio Silva got control of the ball when Balhikapungava Bonk tried to sneak it across the goal line. GeRaÇãO-83's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carl Ancelotti in the 92nd minute. GeRaÇãO-83's Stig Sandström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Túlio Silva in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Toa Toa 4EVER's zone, Ren Jie Fan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Túlio Silva came out of the goal and Ren Jie Fan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. GeRaÇãO-83 played a much better game than Toa Toa 4EVER and deserved their victory. The Toa Toa 4EVER players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
