Samuel Stabbe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marty Simpson, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 36th match minute, Lapachito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marty Simpson to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Feliciano Raitin could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Samuel Stabbe however easily saved by the left post. Julian Guillelme came out of the goal and Sebastian Tarchilă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diablos Rojos's Nicasio Orlin was substituted for Sebastian Tarchilă. Federico Policarpio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Julian Guillelme skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Samuel Stabbe came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Lapachito's Ruperto Matei. But to his dismay, Ruperto Matei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 94th minute, Diablos Rojos's Leonides Froila seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Leonides Froila the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Diablos Rojos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Leonides Froila had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Diablos Rojos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lapachito:s goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lapachito had played much better football throughout.
