Salvador Tate was slow to take the kick. During this time Vancouver Reds's players had a chance to rest. In the 19thth minute of the game Saverio Niva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gran Pauta AFC's Herbert Tyskie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 21 minutes of play, Vancouver Reds's Saverio Niva made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herbert Tyskie was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santana Armada made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Erasmo Min sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Vancouver Reds booed when Gran Pauta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Cordara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santana Armada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Madeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Gran Pauta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Niva came free, but Herbert Tyskie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herbert Tyskie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Niva in the 35th minute of the match. Herbert Tyskie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Recife in the 37th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Gran Pauta AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Totakoxe. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saverio Niva in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herbert Tyskie saved Gran Pauta AFC from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgard Goiz made a kick off. Herbert Tyskie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Recife in the 51st minute of play. When Vancouver Reds's Saverio Niva in 54 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Herbert Tyskie guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 55 minutes into the match, Gran Pauta AFC's goalkeeper Herbert Tyskie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saverio Niva. With his leg Herbert Tyskie managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Vancouver Reds's Saverio Niva fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 58 minutes into the match, Gran Pauta AFC's goalkeeper Herbert Tyskie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cameron Leary. In the 60th minute, Cameron Leary reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Herbert Tyskie. The goal made the score 0-3. 73 minutes into the match, Gran Pauta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Niva came free, but Herbert Tyskie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vancouver Reds were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Gran Pauta AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Greger Sandström took the corner.
