ÇALIMLI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luís Paulo Cruz ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Luís Paulo Cruz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ferhat Uğuş quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo Cruz in the 40th minute of play forced ÇALIMLI's goalkeeper Ferhat Uğuş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tecka Viejo Nomás's zone, Leon van Persie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Bonano came out of the goal and Leon van Persie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tecka Viejo Nomás's Camilo Cordarrol in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Camilo Cordarrol's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ferhat Uğuş firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zekeriya Özbekkan in the 83rd minute of play forced Tecka Viejo Nomás's goalkeeper Roberto Bonano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Camilo Cordarrol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Ferhat Uğuş was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Luís Paulo Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tecka Viejo Nomás's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Paulo Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferhat Uğuş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
