An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Raus in the 3rd minute of play forced Alba FC's goalkeeper Davide Conte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kai-Arne Homme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Davide Conte having to make a save. Davide Conte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kai-Arne Homme in the 9th minute. Vincenc Ehrenberger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico De Grandis, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Abar got free with Davide Conte in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Davide Conte was a little too slow when Pavel Fröhlich got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-0. 43 minutes into the match, Enrico De Grandis notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Silesia Bohumín's Vincenc Ehrenberger. Vincenc Ehrenberger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pavel Fröhlich was the one to do the kick off. Lino Abar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Conte having to interfere. Davide Conte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pavel Fröhlich went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Davide Conte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Abar in the 66th minute of the match. Alba FC's Davide Conte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kai-Arne Homme in the 89th minute of play. Davide Conte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Grygar, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Lino Abar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Silesia Bohumín's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
