Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Takeshi Schims managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valadas's supporters rose to their feet, but Takeshi Schims was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vykan Víkingsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valadas were furious when Patrício Curado was red carded, 8 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Patrício Curado kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Hermínio Bomba was extremely unlucky when he, in the 10th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 12th minute Rolf Huveneers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Nuno Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sem De Kelper struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asingratitos FC. 17 minutes into the match, Valadas's goal looked a bit too open when Rolf Huveneers came free, but Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valadas's Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sem De Kelper in the 19th minute of play. When Hermínio Bomba came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Valadas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermínio Bomba couldn't finish the play. After 29 played minutes Valadas got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Bomba. Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Huveneers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Rolf Huveneers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Sem De Kelper cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. After the first half Asingratitos FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Huveneers, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joachim Van Der Meren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermínio Bomba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Rolf Huveneers really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Valadas's Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glenn De Smedt in the 68th minute of play. Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Asingratitos FC's Rolf Huveneers. But to his dismay, Rolf Huveneers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 74th minute, Danny Emeleers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th match minute, Valadas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Valente to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Huveneers in the 76th minute of play forced Valadas's goalkeeper Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vykan Víkingsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio Bomba in the 77th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Hermínio Bomba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vykan Víkingsson. Asingratitos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermínio Bomba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Asingratitos FC's Vykan Víkingsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio Bomba in the 83rd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Hermínio Bomba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Vykan Víkingsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vykan Víkingsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takeshi Schims, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute of the match Valadas got a corner. Asingratitos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hermínio Bomba ran over to the corner to take the kick. Valadas's Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Valadas from getting a goal against them. Rolf Huveneers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel having to make a save.
