The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Beltrán got free with Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Nova Era getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Yang Sha Ran hit a great ball. 9 minutes in the game, Lucas Beltrán fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel having to interfere. In the 13th minute Guaberto Rocio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chico Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio Bomba in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Valadas booed when Nova Era was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Nuno Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Nova Era's goal looked a bit too open when Hermínio Bomba came free, but Chico Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nova Era were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Valadas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guaberto Rocio took the corner. After taking down the ball on Nova Era's corner Guaberto Rocio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel quite easily take care of the ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valadas's goalkeeper Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Valadas getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Matias Conde hit a great ball. After having played for 48 minutes, Guaberto Rocio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Era's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Rocio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Nova Era players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Valadas were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuno Cunha made a kick off. Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Beltrán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Beltrán in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermínio Bomba in the 57th minute of play forced Nova Era's goalkeeper Chico Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chico Pinho came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Valadas's Nuno Cunha. But to his dismay, Nuno Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Beltrán in the 65th minute of the match. Eugênio Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takeshi Schims in the 69th minute of play forced Nova Era's goalkeeper Chico Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute of the match Valadas got a corner. Nova Era's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hermínio Bomba ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 74th minute, Valadas's Takeshi Schims ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chico Pinho. Chico Pinho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. The supporters of Valadas booed when Nova Era was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yang Sha Ran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valadas made a substitution. Humberto Lencastre replaced Leal Malafaia. After a rather tough play, Nova Era's Yang Sha Ran got a free kick in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Lucas Beltrán had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel. Valadas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Beltrán was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When Valadas's Hermínio Bomba in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nova Era's goalie prevented a goal. Valadas's Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Beltrán in the 89th minute of play. In the 92ndth minute of the game Lucas Beltrán who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valadas's Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Nova Era's goalkeeper Chico Pinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno Cunha. In the 95th minute, Lucas Beltrán left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nova Era fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3.
