Sílvio Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Pires in the 5th minute of play. Sílvio Fontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Vianna's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. After 8 minutes of play, Austra VFC's Leandro Vianna made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Fontes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leandro Vianna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Fontes having to interfere. Sílvio Fontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wellington Pires's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Marcos da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Pires in the 14th minute of play forced Riva’s Jaguar On The Back's goalkeeper Sílvio Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Wellington Pires's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sílvio Fontes was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 21st minute Leandro Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leandro Vianna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sílvio Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Vianna in the 38th minute of the match. Sílvio Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sócrates Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sílvio Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wellington Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Sílvio Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sócrates Silva in the 41st minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Austra VFC's Leandro Vianna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sílvio Fontes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Riva’s Jaguar On The Back's Sílvio Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wellington Pires in the 47th minute of play. The Riva’s Jaguar On The Back players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Austra VFC were winning 0-5.

An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Sócrates Silva got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 57th play minute Sócrates Silva came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sílvio Fontes. 0-6. In the 60th minute, Sócrates Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Fontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. In the 62nd match minute, Austra VFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Perez to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Sílvio Fontes managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Austra VFC's Sócrates Silva fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sílvio Fontes was a little too slow when Ivar Dalman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 0-8. 78 minutes into the match, Riva’s Jaguar On The Back's goalkeeper Sílvio Fontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wellington Pires. Sílvio Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wellington Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guilherme da Silveira came free in the 84th minute and tried to tip the ball over Hudson Gaúcho, but to the joy of Austra VFC's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Ivar Dalman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Sílvio Fontes made a huge save. Leandro Vianna's late challenge caught a Riva’s Jaguar On The Back's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Vianna helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Austra VFC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Leandro Vianna hit a great ball.
