Sílvio Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dónaldur Trumpf in the 9th minute of play forced Riva’s Jaguar On The Back's goalkeeper Sílvio Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldo Gaúcho scored 0-6 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sílvio Fontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

In the 53rd minute Emílio Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Sanchez-Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Ronaldo Gaúcho could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Sílvio Fontes however easily saved by the left post. Dónaldur Trumpf in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sílvio Fontes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Ronaldo Gaúcho came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Estrella de Boedo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldo Gaúcho couldn't finish the play. Sílvio Fontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dónaldur Trumpf's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. If Dónaldur Trumpf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 81 minutes into the match, Dónaldur Trumpf dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sílvio Fontes, 0-10. If Mathias Kluivert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd play minute Dónaldur Trumpf came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sílvio Fontes. 0-11.
