If Sverker Rosén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Napoleón Hill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, General Tanz II's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar Neves came free, but Natalio Montrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The General Tanz II fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when General Tanz II's Benigno Tonete looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilmar Neves in the 30th minute of play forced General Tanz II's goalkeeper Natalio Montrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basilio Abancens was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 38th minute Nilmar Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th match minute, General Tanz II was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sverker Rosén to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Glen Van Acht had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natalio Montrel. General Tanz II's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Glen Van Acht was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Amadeo Ado scored 1-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natalio Montrel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Glen Van Acht to make the kick off. Mr.Magoo's Roman Gartzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Abancens in the 52nd minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Mr.Magoo's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Tavio came free, but Roman Gartzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Tavio in the 58th minute of play forced Mr.Magoo's goalkeeper Roman Gartzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Gartzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Tavio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Benicio Tavio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Gartzea was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Mr.Magoo's Glen Van Acht slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Natalio Montrel. That made the score 1-3 after 63 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sverker Rosén in the 66th minute of play forced Mr.Magoo's goalkeeper Roman Gartzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 minutes of play, General Tanz II's Basilio Abancens made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Gartzea was left in no man's land by his defense there! General Tanz II's Fausto Esquipula was substituted for Gregorio Totakoxe. Roman Gartzea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Mantzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Benicio Tavio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The General Tanz II fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. 84 minutes into the match, Basilio Abancens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roman Gartzea. Mr.Magoo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basilio Abancens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. In the 87th minute, Napoleón Hill ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natalio Montrel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. Benicio Tavio took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roman Gartzea. Roman Gartzea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-4. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. General Tanz II fully deserved thier win.
