The crowd rose to their feet as Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s Ahmet Kadri Uğurtay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlos Quentin. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. Carlos Quentin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Kadri Uğurtay, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Hondo in the 17th minute of play forced Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goalkeeper Jânio de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Silvino came free, but Jânio de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Pincha FC's Agustin Silvino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jânio de Barros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Hondo in the 33rd minute of play forced Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goalkeeper Jânio de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s Jânio de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Roldanillo in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Bektaş Ali Şencan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jânio de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Hondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcial Roldanillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Quentin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Martinez in the 54th minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Pincha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Martinez came free, but Carlos Quentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustin Silvino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jânio de Barros came out and tried to block the shot, but Agustin Silvino slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 58th minute. The supporters of Pincha FC booed when Ballybunion Celtic F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. José-Francisco Virues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jânio de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Silvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Carlos Quentin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Braulio Martinez's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Alessandro Queirós struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Carlos Quentin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballybunion Celtic F.C.. 74 minutes into the match, Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Roldanillo came free, but Jânio de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Jânio de Barros successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Ballybunion Celtic F.C. booed when Pincha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Macerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pincha FC's Darren McDonald was substituted for Carlos-Salvador Bilardo. After a rather tough play, Pincha FC's Sergio Macerio got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Macerio got free with Jânio de Barros in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute, Sergio Macerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute of the match Ahmet Kadri Uğurtay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Quentin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jânio de Barros came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Pincha FC's Marcial Roldanillo. But to his dismay, Marcial Roldanillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. The Pincha FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pincha FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
