Jânio de Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Abar in the 6th minute of play. Castelar F.C.'s Arnulfo Piarres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Castelar F.C. from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes into the match, Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Abar came free, but Jânio de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goalkeeper Jânio de Barros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felix Eriksson hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Romeo Abar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jânio de Barros skillfully saved the ball. In the 23rd minute Alfredinho Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Piarres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s corner Ahmet Kadri Uğurtay fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnulfo Piarres quite easily take care of the ball. Castelar F.C.'s Arnulfo Piarres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Teixeira in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Alfredinho Teixeira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Arnulfo Piarres, passed just outside the right post. After 30 minutes of play, Castelar F.C.'s Arturo Inocente made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jânio de Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alessandro Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Piarres having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredinho Teixeira in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnulfo Piarres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnulfo Piarres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Kadri Uğurtay in the 37th minute of the match. If Alfredinho Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Senen hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Castelar F.C.'s Arnulfo Piarres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Teixeira in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Castelar F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ahmet Kadri Uğurtay was slow to take the kick. During this time Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s players had a chance to rest.

Arnulfo Piarres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredinho Teixeira's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute, Mariano Eguntsenti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62ndth minute of the game Alfredinho Teixeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Castelar F.C.'s Arnulfo Piarres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 63 minutes, José-Francisco Virues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballybunion Celtic F.C. and the Castelar F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jânio de Barros made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Ariel Ortega sent off a good shot on target. Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s Jânio de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Inocente in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Ariel Ortega ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jânio de Barros was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 76 minutes into the game, Bektaş Ali Şencan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castelar F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s Bektaş Ali Şencan got a free kick in the 76th minute. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Castelar F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ahmet Kadri Uğurtay was slow to take the kick. During this time Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After 80 played minutes Ballybunion Celtic F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Bektaş Ali Şencan. Alfredinho Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Braulio Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Piarres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th match minute, Ballybunion Celtic F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Martinez to maneuver through the defense. Alfredinho Teixeira scored 4-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnulfo Piarres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Castelar F.C.'s Romeo Abar got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Alfredinho Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Ballybunion Celtic F.C. getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Braulio Martinez hit a great ball. Castelar F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
