The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Gato Preto FC's Rony Barbosa got a free kick in the 3rd minute. A collision led to Halcon Sport 69 getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ederono Dozal hit a great ball. Baumer Ayllon kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Maciej Bronder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sidro Fresnedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes into the match, Gato Preto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maciej Bronder came free, but Chicão Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maciej Bronder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chicão Peixoto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Cipriano Tavares's late challenge caught a Halcon Sport 69's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cipriano Tavares helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gato Preto FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Cipriano Tavares hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Maciej Bronder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maciej Bronder might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chicão Peixoto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maciej Bronder ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute Maciej Bronder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Maciej Bronder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Chicão Peixoto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chicão Peixoto came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Halcon Sport 69's Maciej Bronder. But to his dismay, Maciej Bronder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Bruno Henrique sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Henrique made a kick off. Pierre-Olivier Lembrechts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauan Abraão in the 53rd minute of the match. Pierre-Olivier Lembrechts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauan Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Maciej Bronder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Halcon Sport 69 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Halcon Sport 69 made a substitution. Edmund Vaik replaced Maciej Bronder. Edmund Vaik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Chicão Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Edmund Vaik dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Chicão Peixoto, 0-6. Halcon Sport 69's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 77th match minute, Gato Preto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rony Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Edmund Vaik scored 0-7 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chicão Peixoto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Edmund Vaik notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Gato Preto FC's Chicão Peixoto. Chicão Peixoto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Halcon Sport 69 booed when Gato Preto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adalberto Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Halcon Sport 69's Jon Autran broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the final whistle sounded Halcon Sport 69 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gato Preto FC.
