After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Jonatan Dorio managed to get in a good position for a shot. PLURAL's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Dorio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Eduardo Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Walter Bock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Robot Haaland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonatan Dorio hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Alexandre Perdigão was a little too slow when Rigoberto Lozano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-1. After some careless play in the PLURAL defense, Rigoberto Lozano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexandre Perdigão. The PLURAL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexandre Perdigão should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Buenaventura FC's Kurt Angel got a free kick in the 36th minute. Alexandre Perdigão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walter Bock in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robot Haaland in the 45th minute of play forced Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Alexandre Perdigão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Lozano in the 51st minute of play. With a little luck, Buenaventura FC's Carlos Eduardo Ramos got control of the ball when Jonatan Dorio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Eduardo Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robot Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Walter Bock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th match minute, PLURAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Battal Seyyit Sabih to maneuver through the defense. Walter Bock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Alexandre Perdigão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rodolfo Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robot Haaland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Eduardo Ramos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
