The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cruz Credo in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Fliz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luciano Fliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Marin, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Sanagasta AFC's Toni Mačković broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Elias Figueroa fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maravilla's protests and gave Elias Figueroa a yellow card for diving instead. Candido Aztore didn't quite understand what happened when in the 12 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. 21 minutes into the game, Cruz Credo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Luciano Fliz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Toni Mačković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sanagasta AFC's Luciano Fliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cruz Credo in the 30th minute of play. Luciano Fliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cruz Credo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Sugar made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Maravilla's Cruz Credo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luciano Fliz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maravilla's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by César de Senna in the 55th minute. In the 64th minute Cruz Credo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Fliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Esteve Ariando heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Godofredo Marin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luciano Fliz having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cruz Credo in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Fliz saved Sanagasta AFC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Sanagasta AFC's Wilfredo Erramun got a free kick in the 71st minute. Luciano Fliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cruz Credo in the 72nd minute of play. Joel Sugar hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 75th match minute, Sanagasta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Rafe to maneuver through the defense. Maravilla's Cruz Credo got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeronimo Gines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Peio, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Sanagasta AFC's Luciano Fliz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Sanagasta AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute, Joel Sugar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maravilla's Dejan Waidler was substituted for César de Senna. Luciano Fliz was a little too slow when Victoriano Estevez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-4. When the match was over Maravilla could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sanagasta AFC throughout the match.
