Delmar Lapurdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Hudson Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esquipula Bouzon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Cipriano Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santo Amaro AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Hermes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasio Eguerdi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the game, Esquipula Bouzon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hudson Arósio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th match minute, Santo Amaro AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo Marquez to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Esquipula Bouzon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hudson Arósio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 21 minutes into the game, Luiz Fabiano de Senna threw the ball into play from the sideline. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Miguel Burutzagi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Delmar Lapurdi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hudson Arósio having to make a save. Wincent Pawlik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Eguerdi having to interfere. In the 25thth minute of the game Wincent Pawlik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Anastasio Eguerdi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Esquipula Bouzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anastasio Eguerdi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Hermes in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Anastasio Eguerdi got control of the ball when Cipriano Hermes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Esquipula Bouzon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Nicolas Demario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santo Amaro AC's Wincent Pawlik shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Anastasio Eguerdi but with some difficulty. Hudson Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Lapurdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. If Cipriano Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cipriano Hermes made a kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Delmar Lapurdi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hudson Arósio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 53rd minute, Esquipula Bouzon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hudson Arósio. The goal made the score 0-4. Luiz Fabiano de Senna made in the 58th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Carlos Eduardo Marquez immediately put the ball in play. Anastasio Eguerdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Hudson Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esquipula Bouzon in the 62nd minute of the match. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Anastasio Eguerdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Hermes in the 70th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Delmar Lapurdi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hudson Arósio. That made the score 0-5 after 92 minutes of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. DeportivoIndependienteMDP walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
