Elbert Hand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Argina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Hannover Reds's Qiao Xing Qi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elbert Hand. Elbert Hand yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Elbert Hand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Willi Tilmann in the 95th minute.
