After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Wilfred Noel managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Canalla de Chicago's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfred Noel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Cullen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 5 minutes into the match, Osfinch FC's goalkeeper Stefan Cullen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim Vilar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Longden in the 6th minute of play forced El Canalla de Chicago's goalkeeper Wilbur Hyde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osfinch FC's Stefan Cullen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Vilar in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel De Fremeaux in the 10th minute of play forced El Canalla de Chicago's goalkeeper Wilbur Hyde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Don Longden in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilbur Hyde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilbur Hyde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don Longden, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 23rdth minute of the game Dušan Tadić who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Canalla de Chicago's Wilbur Hyde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Osfinch FC's Don Longden managed to work through El Canalla de Chicago's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Don Longden dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Stefan Cullen made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Joaquim Vilar sent off a good shot on target. Osfinch FC's Stefan Cullen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Osfinch FC from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute Don Longden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilbur Hyde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Vilar got free with Stefan Cullen in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Osfinch FC's Stefan Cullen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Osfinch FC from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Vilar made a kick off. In the 54th minute Matthew Medrano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Cullen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Matthew Medrano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Cullen was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. If Dušan Tadić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Canalla de Chicago's Andreas Sanchez was substituted for Matthew Medrano. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Domingo Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Canalla de Chicago's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Lopez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Cullen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. El Canalla de Chicago made a substitution. Justin Raines replaced Domingo Lopez. Pascal Combs hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Wilbur Hyde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Longden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of El Canalla de Chicago booed when Osfinch FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelius Ritchie didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th match minute, Osfinch FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelius Ritchie to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justin Raines in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stefan Cullen saved Osfinch FC from getting behind. In the 80th match minute, Osfinch FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Collingwood to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, El Canalla de Chicago's Claude Mueller got a free kick in the 81st minute. When Osfinch FC's Dušan Tadić in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Canalla de Chicago's goalie prevented a goal. Wilbur Hyde stood somewhat misplaced when Dušan Tadić came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 83 minute. 89 minutes into the match, Osfinch FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Vilar came free, but Stefan Cullen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Osfinch FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for El Canalla de Chicago.
