Jim Lindberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferenc Puskás went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 46thth minute of the game Ferenc Puskás who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SpringPojkarnas BK's Jim Lindberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jordi Leal to make the kick off. Jim Lindberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferenc Puskás in the 56th minute of play. Ferenc Puskás scored 2-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jim Lindberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SpringPojkarnas BK's Jim Lindberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferenc Puskás in the 61st minute of play. Ferenc Puskás's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jim Lindberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Jim Lindberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferenc Puskás in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to SpringPojkarnas BK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Per-Oskar Backman hit a great ball. SpringPojkarnas BK's Jim Lindberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valério Santana in the 70th minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Ferenc Puskás managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tottenham Hotspurs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferenc Puskás was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tottenham Hotspurs's Everardo Lucero was substituted for 冯博凌. The corner ended in Valério Santana almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SpringPojkarnas BK's Jim Lindberg did a great save. 86 minutes into the game, Tottenham Hotspurs's Eustaquio Marques nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jim Lindberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When David Jansson fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SpringPojkarnas BK's protests and gave David Jansson a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes SpringPojkarnas BK got a freekick which was hit by David Jansson. In the 96th minute, David Jansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tottenham Hotspurs's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
