In the 7th minute, Caatiba MZC's Niceto Ihazintu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Miromir Kociniewski. Miromir Kociniewski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Rodriguinho Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miromir Kociniewski having to interfere. Babbis Meletos made in the 16th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rüknettin Tosunoğlu immediately put the ball in play. After 21 played minutes G . S A R A Y got a freekick which was hit by Rüknettin Tosunoğlu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomil Beninda in the 24th minute of play forced Caatiba MZC's goalkeeper Ergo Muro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. G . S A R A Y's Miromir Kociniewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco-Antonio Ramiréz in the 25th minute of play. Miromir Kociniewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Ihazintu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Niceto Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. G . S A R A Y's Miromir Kociniewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save G . S A R A Y from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamil Babacan in the 32nd minute of play forced Caatiba MZC's goalkeeper Ergo Muro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes Caatiba MZC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rüknettin Tosunoğlu who took care of the corner kick. After 37 minutes of play, G . S A R A Y's Kamil Babacan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ergo Muro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the game, one of G . S A R A Y:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 41 minutes G . S A R A Y's goalkeeper Miromir Kociniewski managed, with a little bit of luck, save Gaby Milito's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. 41 minutes into the game, Gaby Milito recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Miromir Kociniewski. Gaby Milito showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Caatiba MZC's Niceto Ihazintu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Miromir Kociniewski. That made the score 3-1 after 44 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niceto Ihazintu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miromir Kociniewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 51st minute of play. Ergo Muro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koray Suer, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With an all-out effort, G . S A R A Y's Ergo Muro threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Koray Suer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 61st minute Kamil Babacan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ergo Muro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Niceto Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miromir Kociniewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 66th minute of play. When Niceto Ihazintu came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Caatiba MZC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Ihazintu couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind G . S A R A Y's goalkeeper Miromir Kociniewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kamil Babacan got free with Ergo Muro in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miromir Kociniewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 80th minute of the match. Svante Åberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91stth minute of the game Nuno Mattos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but G . S A R A Y's Miromir Kociniewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miromir Kociniewski came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Caatiba MZC's Nuno Mattos. But to his dismay, Nuno Mattos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 96 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's Nuno Mattos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miromir Kociniewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Caatiba MZC fans cheered their team off the field, for while G . S A R A Y had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
