Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Çağlar Erakıncı in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ray Clemence prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Evcilerspor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erdi Adahan in the 30th minute. Neville Byrnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuğrul Özboga having to interfere. Ray Clemence showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Tunström, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute of the match Evcilerspor got a corner. Manly FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erdi Adahan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Metehan Kuntay almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Manly FC's Ray Clemence did a great save. Benjamin Tunström struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Ray Clemence didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Evcilerspor. After the first half Evcilerspor were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Mo Salah in the 54th minute of play forced Evcilerspor's goalkeeper Tuğrul Özboga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Evcilerspor's goal looked a bit too open when Nilson Snabl came free, but Tuğrul Özboga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute of the match, Çağlar Erakıncı got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ray Clemence was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 89th minute Michal Kormaník shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Clemence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manly FC's Ray Clemence proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Manly FC from getting a goal against them. Evcilerspor's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
