The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xesc Rallo in the 6th minute of play forced GÓRNIK PSZÓW's goalkeeper Juan Luis Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Riemannian's goal looked a bit too open when Elvin Sexton came free, but Valerio Quintanilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Luis Carneiro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Franco Jofre. 17 minutes into the match, Damian Majewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valerio Quintanilla. Riemannian's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Majewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Valerio Quintanilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Majewski in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30thth minute of the game Damian Majewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riemannian's Valerio Quintanilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Damian Majewski sped through Riemannian's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valerio Quintanilla. Beltran Tormes hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Damian Majewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Michael Riells hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Valerio Quintanilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Majewski went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute Damian Majewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valerio Quintanilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Majewski made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, GÓRNIK PSZÓW's Damian Majewski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valerio Quintanilla. Valerio Quintanilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Michael Riells kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. When Damian Majewski came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the GÓRNIK PSZÓW fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Majewski couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Albert Balcan in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Riemannian's Michael Riells. Juan Luis Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chico Campos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valerio Quintanilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvin Sexton in the 71st minute of play. Damian Majewski came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Valerio Quintanilla could save by the left post. With a little luck, Riemannian's Valerio Quintanilla got control of the ball when Elvin Sexton tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the GÓRNIK PSZÓW defense, Chico Campos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Luis Carneiro. The GÓRNIK PSZÓW fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Luis Carneiro should have stopped the shot. Valerio Quintanilla made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Damian Majewski sent off a good shot on target. Beltran Tormes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juan Luis Carneiro. GÓRNIK PSZÓW's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The GÓRNIK PSZÓW supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GÓRNIK PSZÓW would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
