Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) PIAUÍ FC's Baturhan Oytun started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Faustin Hamet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tours Football Club's Lech Blochowiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baturhan Oytun in the 8th minute of play. PIAUÍ FC were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Tours Football Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Demis Katsarolidis took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Demis Katsarolidis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lech Blochowiak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Renato Sá made in the 16th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Guga Trancoso. Serginho Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustin Hamet in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, PIAUÍ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredão Prestes to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustin Hamet in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serginho Nogueira saved PIAUÍ FC from getting behind. If Demis Katsarolidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serginho Nogueira came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Tours Football Club's Faustin Hamet. But to his dismay, Faustin Hamet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lech Blochowiak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baturhan Oytun in the 29th minute. In the 34th minute Baturhan Oytun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Blochowiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serginho Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jones Castray in the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Faustin Hamet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tours Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustin Hamet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serginho Nogueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Tours Football Club were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Faustin Hamet made the kick off in the second half. Gilvan Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Alfredão Prestes made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Tours Football Club's Guy Jourdan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Gøl in the 69th minute of play forced Tours Football Club's goalkeeper Lech Blochowiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mete Gøl scored 1-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lech Blochowiak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jiang Fan Yu hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Renato Sá shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lech Blochowiak showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 74th minute Baturhan Oytun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Blochowiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Tours Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Baturhan Oytun came free, but Lech Blochowiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Joaquim Ubiña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faustin Hamet charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faustin Hamet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mete Gøl in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lech Blochowiak saved Tours Football Club from getting behind. After 90 minutes of play, PIAUÍ FC's Baturhan Oytun made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lech Blochowiak was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Gøl in the 94th minute of play forced Tours Football Club's goalkeeper Lech Blochowiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PIAUÍ FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
