When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Nicolas Roland took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Florencio Cutberto to make any attempt to save it. Florencio Cutberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Roland's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 19th minute Lucas Alario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Vitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Vélez Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Eutor came free, but Elpidio Vitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Roland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florencio Cutberto was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Enzo FC's Florencio Cutberto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Enzo FC from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the game, Nicolas Roland recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Florencio Cutberto. Nicolas Roland showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 33rd minute of the match, Cristian Naike tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Florencio Cutberto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vélez Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guido Luzaide in the 34th minute. After taking down the ball on Vélez Juniors's corner Benigno Gurutz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Florencio Cutberto quite easily take care of the ball. After 35 minutes Enzo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guido Luzaide who took care of the corner kick. Guido Luzaide made a great header on Vélez Juniors's corner, it was just that Enzo FC's Florencio Cutberto managed to reach the ball for a save. Nicolas Roland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Florencio Cutberto made a huge save. Nicolas Roland struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Florencio Cutberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vélez Juniors. 41 minutes into the game, Nicolas Roland recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Florencio Cutberto. Nicolas Roland showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Elpidio Vitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Alario in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basilio Eutor was the one to do the kick off. Nicolas Roland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florencio Cutberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. David Bakar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 56th minute. Enzo FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 57 minutes into the match, Enzo FC's Lucas Alario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elpidio Vitin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bautista Martínez Quarta hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 61 played minutes, Vélez Juniors's Guido Luzaide shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Florencio Cutberto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vélez Juniors reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Eutor in the 65th minute of play forced Vélez Juniors's goalkeeper Elpidio Vitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Enzo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Roland came free, but Florencio Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Enzo Ferman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Enzo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vélez Juniors the free kick. After a rather tough play, Enzo FC's Enzo Ferman got a free kick in the 70th minute. Vélez Juniors made a substitution. Benicio Rivas replaced Santos Fonda. Florencio Cutberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Roland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Lucas Alario took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Elpidio Vitin to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Roland in the 88th minute of play forced Enzo FC's goalkeeper Florencio Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
