With a little luck, BLACK STAR FC's Emmanuel Dandy got control of the ball when Dominik Zawacki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emmanuel Dandy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fryderyk Motowski in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Zawacki in the 14th minute of play forced BLACK STAR FC's goalkeeper Emmanuel Dandy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Kraków1983 were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after BLACK STAR FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juan Čuk took the corner. 24 minutes into the match, BLACK STAR FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fryderyk Motowski came free, but Emmanuel Dandy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Ronalds McDonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Niezywy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BLACK STAR FC were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after FC Kraków1983's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lucien Ratté took the corner. The corner led to BLACK STAR FC's Lin Yan Yan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 38th minute, Ronalds McDonald made a precise shot to the right of Zenon Niezywy. FC Kraków1983's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Emmanuel Dandy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Zawacki in the 40th minute of play. Fryderyk Motowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Emmanuel Dandy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Ronalds McDonald managed to get in a good position for a shot. BLACK STAR FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronalds McDonald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zenon Niezywy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th match minute, BLACK STAR FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jailson de Barros to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dominik Zawacki to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Dominik Zawacki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Emmanuel Dandy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the BLACK STAR FC defense, Dominik Zawacki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emmanuel Dandy. The BLACK STAR FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emmanuel Dandy should have stopped the shot. After having played for 58 minutes, Ronalds McDonald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BLACK STAR FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronalds McDonald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Kraków1983's Zenon Niezywy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronalds McDonald in the 60th minute of play. After 62 minutes FC Kraków1983's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucien Ratté who took care of the corner kick. Olgierd Osowski tried in the game's 62nd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Zenon Niezywy. An annoying self made goal, 2-2. Ronalds McDonald's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zenon Niezywy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Fryderyk Motowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kraków1983 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Ronalds McDonald took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zenon Niezywy. Zenon Niezywy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. BLACK STAR FC's Danilo Principe quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bo Bek, made in the 84th minute of the game. FC Kraków1983's Zenon Niezywy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronalds McDonald in the 84th minute of play. When Ronalds McDonald came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the BLACK STAR FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronalds McDonald couldn't finish the play. Emmanuel Dandy came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kraków1983's Dominik Zawacki. But to his dismay, Dominik Zawacki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-5. Chants of BLACK STAR FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as FC Kraków1983 had held the ball for most of the match.
