In the 13th minute, Bruno Tristão made a precise shot to the right of Nestor Guillelmus. Funebrero FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Kara-Murat Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Ali Emir Işıklar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nestor Guillelmus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Tristão in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute of the game Elias Emeterio made a throw-in which Kara-Murat Goiano played forward. In the 39th minute Ali Emir Işıklar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ali Emir Işıklar was the one to do the kick off. Nestor Guillelmus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Tristão, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Emir Işıklar came free, but Miguel Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Tristão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Nestor Guillelmus made a huge save. 74 minutes into the match, VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Emir Işıklar came free, but Miguel Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Funebrero FC's Ali Emir Işıklar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Pedroso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 81 minutes VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was German Tallia who took care of the corner kick. Miguel Pedroso came out of the goal and Kara-Murat Goiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF defense, Ali Emir Işıklar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Pedroso. The VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Pedroso should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the game, Gentil Ramalho threw the ball into play from the sideline. Funebrero FC's Arturo Otsoa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 94 played minutes Funebrero FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Eleder. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Funebrero FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
