When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Battal Gazi Bey sped through Club Deportivo Diagüita's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bengt Hedlund. In the 28thth minute of the game Battal Gazi Bey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Diagüita's Bengt Hedlund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute, Battal Gazi Bey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Åke Kilman couldn't finish the play. The S O B E R A N O CIMZ fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Battal Gazi Bey looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicanor Perl to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Battal Gazi Bey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt Hedlund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Simão do Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Battal Gazi Bey dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Diagüita's Leonardo Jordan got a free kick in the 83rd minute.
