The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcelo Cordairo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Lang in the 17th minute of the match. Nicolas Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pompiliu Ciutacu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Cordairo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Lang, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Copetonas AFC's Kostas Paxinos got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pompiliu Ciutacu scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolas Joey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Sammy Corcoran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Cordairo. Copetonas AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sammy Corcoran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With an all-out effort, FC ARK CS's Marcelo Cordairo threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgar Lang, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 47 minutes into the match, FC ARK CS's goal looked a bit too open when Pompiliu Ciutacu came free, but Nicolas Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Nicolas Joey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pompiliu Ciutacu went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.
