Northland Vikings's Benne Benneborg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 11 minutes in the game Karel-Jan Kerckmans did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ross Strong. Ralf Allgöwer scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inocencio Veronica, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Rafaela FC from getting a goal against them. Andreas Falk made a great header on Northland Vikings's corner, it was just that Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica managed to reach the ball for a save. Inocencio Veronica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ture Waller, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Inocencio Veronica had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ture Waller. In the 44th minute Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benne Benneborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ture Waller to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ture Waller in the 51st minute of play forced Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Inocencio Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inocencio Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Gerdberg in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ross Strong got free with Benne Benneborg in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Inocencio Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Waller in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Jax in the 60th minute of play forced Northland Vikings's goalkeeper Benne Benneborg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Rolando Jax made a precise shot to the right of Benne Benneborg. Northland Vikings's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Octavio Gonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benne Benneborg having to interfere. Northland Vikings's Mel Speerschneider was substituted for Ralf Allgöwer. With a little luck, Northland Vikings's Benne Benneborg got control of the ball when Ross Strong tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Northland Vikings fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Northland Vikings's Gao Peng Ran looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Gao Peng Ran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Northland Vikings's supporters rose to their feet, but Gao Peng Ran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inocencio Veronica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Northland Vikings were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rafaela FC for a fine match.
