Cãlin Damaschin stood somewhat misplaced when Cleto Firmin came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 37 minute. In the 39th minute of the match, Firme Verga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cãlin Damaschin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Evelio Milian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Kensicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicente Naike was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 49th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Firme Verga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CERRO PORTEÑO made a substitution. Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis replaced Román Olmedo. Chelsea Football Club's Aureliano Arnau was substituted for Silvestre Porfiro. Vicente Naike made in the 68th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lizer Cordal immediately put the ball in play. 71 minutes into the match, Lizer Cordal notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of CERRO PORTEÑO's Cãlin Damaschin.
