Håkan Šuker started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes FC Chorchoj got a freekick which was hit by Dyllen Reijnders. 4 minutes into the match, FC Chorchoj's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Bergfelt came free, but Zheng Jian Yi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 9 minutes on the clock, Håkan Arenius commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. La Cosa Nostra's Gustavo Severiano was substituted for Elias Millrick. In the 8th minute, one of La Cosa Nostra:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Cosa Nostra. Sonny Alén had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Vic Angelsø's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Zheng Jian Yi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Šuker in the 14th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, FC Chorchoj's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Šuker came free, but Zheng Jian Yi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alois Selinger hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's Agnaldo Reis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zheng Jian Yi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. La Cosa Nostra were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after FC Chorchoj's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hans Bergfelt took the corner. 38 minutes in the game Lino Policarpio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Emilio Vedillo. In the 40th minute of the match, Lautaro-Gabriel Martinez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sonny Alén saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 43 minutes into the match, Vic Angelsø had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sonny Alén. La Cosa Nostra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vic Angelsø was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vic Angelsø stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Lautaro-Gabriel Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Bergfelt in the 56th minute of play forced FC Chorchoj's goalkeeper Zheng Jian Yi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's Håkan Šuker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zheng Jian Yi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vic Angelsø took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sonny Alén. Sonny Alén dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 62nd minute, La Cosa Nostra's Håkan Šuker ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zheng Jian Yi. Zheng Jian Yi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. La Cosa Nostra's Mao Yang Yang was substituted for Ricardo Araújo. La Cosa Nostra made a substitution. Maurício Mansilha replaced Håkan Šuker. In the 78th minute of the match FC Chorchoj got a corner. La Cosa Nostra's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lino Policarpio ran over to the corner to take the kick. With an all-out effort, La Cosa Nostra's Zheng Jian Yi threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maurício Mansilha, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Agnaldo Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sonny Alén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Vedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes FC Chorchoj got a freekick which was hit by Ruslan Bašus. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício Mansilha in the 89th minute of play forced FC Chorchoj's goalkeeper Zheng Jian Yi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 minutes FC Chorchoj's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hans Bergfelt who took care of the corner kick. Sonny Alén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Vedillo in the 95th minute of play.
