Original Sabahan's Dewa Kooth quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 11 minutes into the match, Śląsk Bytom's goalkeeper Antoni Brama had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dewa Kooth. Egil Kilberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulryk Miazga in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Tymoteusz Dunajski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Egil Kilberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 19th minute Ulryk Miazga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Kilberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlo Monni in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egil Kilberg saved Original Sabahan from getting behind. When Śląsk Bytom's Carlo Monni in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Original Sabahan's goalie prevented a goal. When Carlo Monni, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 21 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Egil Kilberg was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 26th minute Carlo Monni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Kilberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egil Kilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tymoteusz Dunajski in the 28th minute of the match. Śląsk Bytom's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Gustaw Tylenda scored to the left of an out of position Antoni Brama, making the score, 1-1. 33 minutes into the match, Original Sabahan's Gustaw Tylenda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antoni Brama narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gustaw Tylenda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute Carlo Monni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Kilberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egil Kilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Monni in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustaw Tylenda was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulryk Miazga in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egil Kilberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antoni Brama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wahyu Wibowo in the 56th minute of the match. Egil Kilberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulryk Miazga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Tymoteusz Dunajski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Egil Kilberg, 1-2. Śląsk Bytom's Roland Tomaszewski was substituted for Roch Zajonc. Śląsk Bytom's Kazimierz Ewertowski was substituted for Carlo Rapone. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Tylenda in the 71st minute of play forced Śląsk Bytom's goalkeeper Antoni Brama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Original Sabahan's Yahya Kılıçaslan was substituted for Gustaw Tylenda. After 78 played minutes Original Sabahan got a freekick which was hit by Aristide Mirciulescu.
