After a rather tough play, Alianza FC's Baran Gayret got a free kick in the 3rd minute. A collision led to Alianza FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Cordara Herbon hit a great ball. In the 8th minute Malmö White Knights were awarded a corner. Evert Taube went to the cornerflag to take it. After 10 played minutes Alianza FC got a freekick which was hit by Rony Rüşti. 11 minutes into the match, Alianza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elvijs Presley came free, but Nofre Estany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nofre Estany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvijs Presley in the 13th minute of the match. Elvijs Presley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Nofre Estany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nofre Estany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvijs Presley in the 21st minute of play. Nofre Estany stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elvijs Presley's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Malmö White Knights's attentive Olívio Meireles managed to snatch the ball when Reno Chavarria made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. Di Feng Zheng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Roby Baggio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nofre Estany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elvijs Presley struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Nofre Estany didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malmö White Knights. Alianza FC's Nofre Estany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvijs Presley in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Elvijs Presley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Long Jian Le hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roby Baggio to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes in the game, Roby Baggio dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Marin Ciprian scored 1-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johnny Banks, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elvijs Presley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Malmö White Knights's Nofre Estany threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elvijs Presley, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Malmö White Knights booed when Alianza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reno Chavarria didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Elvijs Presley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nofre Estany was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Malmö White Knights's Johnny Banks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Ciprian in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baran Gayret in the 73rd minute of play forced Malmö White Knights's goalkeeper Johnny Banks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvijs Presley received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nofre Estany came out and tried to block the shot, but Elvijs Presley slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 77th minute. Alianza FC made a substitution. Leopoldo Aimar replaced Cordara Herbon. Alianza FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Elvijs Presley scored to the left of an out of position Nofre Estany, making the score, 1-3. Malmö White Knights's Johnny Banks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Ciprian in the 87th minute of play. The Malmö White Knights supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Malmö White Knights would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
