Spectators: 7733 (Terracing: 5801, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 154) After a defensive mix-up in Zgierskie Zlewy's zone, Marco Verratti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karol Ruszkowski came out of the goal and Marco Verratti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karol Ruszkowski was a little too slow when Marco Verratti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 9th minute Zbigniew Trela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmuth Duckadam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zgierskie Zlewy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Fausto Ferrante scored to the left of an out of position Karol Ruszkowski, making the score, 2-0. 14 minutes into the match, FC Ruscova's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Rives came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karol Ruszkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Çetin Kantürk in the 16th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zbigniew Trela in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helmuth Duckadam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karol Ruszkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çetin Kantürk in the 20th minute of the match. Zbigniew Trela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Ferrante in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karol Ruszkowski saved Zgierskie Zlewy from getting behind. The Zgierskie Zlewy fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Zgierskie Zlewy's Zbigniew Trela looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Karol Ruszkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Ferrante in the 36th minute of the match. Çetin Kantürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Karol Ruszkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Helmuth Duckadam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbigniew Trela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zbigniew Trela to make the kick off. Karol Ruszkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcu Iovan in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute Fausto Ferrante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Ruszkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karol Ruszkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Verratti, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Karol Ruszkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çetin Kantürk in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çetin Kantürk in the 78th minute of play forced Zgierskie Zlewy's goalkeeper Karol Ruszkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karol Ruszkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Ferrante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Robert Doicaru fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Zgierskie Zlewy's Karol Ruszkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Ferrante in the 84th minute of play. Karol Ruszkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Verratti in the 85th minute of play. After 86 played minutes FC Ruscova got a freekick which was hit by Marcu Iovan. 87 minutes into the match, FC Ruscova's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Doicaru. With a little luck, FC Ruscova's Helmuth Duckadam got control of the ball when Robert Doicaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robert Doicaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Helmuth Duckadam made a huge save. 92 minutes in the game, Robert Doicaru fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Helmuth Duckadam having to interfere. FC Ruscova's Leonard Lixandru was substituted for Marco Verratti. Zgierskie Zlewy's Karol Ruszkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Lixandru in the 95th minute of play.
