After having played for 33 minutes, Narciso Noe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KaoS Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Noe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Alianza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Greña to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Jacob Albuquerque made a precise shot to the right of Anders Gade. Alianza FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacob Albuquerque to make the kick off. After 85 minutes Alianza FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Noel Hargrave who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Alianza FC's goalie and right to Narciso Noe. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Alianza FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Anders Gade made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Noel Hargrave sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Ciprian in the 91st minute of play forced KaoS Futbol Club's goalkeeper Pierluigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noel Hargrave could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Anders Gade made a huge save.
